Welcome back!
Today’s lunch menu: Ham or turkey sub, baked chips, baby carrots w/hummus dip, fruit and milk.
All students: Today you are receiving your most current schedule in forum. Middle School schedules are printed on yellow paper and High School schedules are printed on green paper. Please follow your YELLOW or GREEN schedule and make sure you are following the column of classes under “Thursday” at the top of the page. Also, please look over your schedule carefully. If you notice any classes missing that you believe should be there please see your counselor during an IWT. Changes to schedules can be made in the counseling office. Changes can be made to schedules throughout the first five weeks of classes. You may only come in for a schedule change during a study hall or lunch.
All students: At some point today, please log into Google Classroom and accept any class invitations you have received from your teachers. Thanks!
If you are planning to drive to school this year you will need a parking permit. Stop by the main office and pick up the paperwork from Mrs. Reese!
Masquers auditions day 2! If you are interested in the High School fall play please see Mrs. Moren. Audition information and signups are in the Masquers Google Classroom. Tech signups are also in the Google classroom. If you want to be included in the Masquers classroom please let Mrs. Moren know.
The first Junior FFA Meeting will be Thursday September 12th during MS lunch in Mrs. Chamberlain’s room. Please grab your lunch and report to room 121. Junior leadership team will meet in Mrs. Chamberlain’s room Wednesday during MS lunch to prepare the agenda. See you then!
Attention NJHS Candidates: There will be a brief meeting for National Junior Honor Society candidates tomorrow at the beginning of lunch. Candidates received a letter from Ms. White over the summer and were invited to join a Google Classroom. Please come to Ms. White's room tomorrow right after the lunch bell rings. After our meeting, you may go to the cafeteria for lunch. All interested candidates need to attend.
Mrs. Merkt and the SEL Room are now located in what used to be the Think Tank. Students are welcome during lunch and IWT. Please bring a pass!
Seniors: We are taking the senior class photo TODAY! You will need to be dismissed early from your cell 9 class at 2:35pm and go directly outside of the LGI door.
Attention boys modified soccer players: We will meet in Coach Jones’ room (room 214) right after school for a quick meeting before getting ready to go outside for practice.
Athletic News:
The Girls Varsity Soccer team opens their season in defense of their Mt. Markham Tournament Championship on Friday @ 5pm vs. Unadilla Valley.
They will play in Round 2 on Saturday vs. Mt. Markham at 7pm.
The Boys’ varsity soccer team opened their season Tuesday with a close loss to Tully, 2-1. Gavin Hames had the goal for the Knights on an assist from Levi Neuenschwander. Cooper Roy made two saves. The team plays today in the opening round of the Fabius-Pompey Tournament against Faith Heritage at 4:30.
Athletic Events:
- JV Boys Soccer at Westmoreland at 4:30pm bus leaves at 3:00.
- Varsity Football at Bishop Grimes 5:00pm
