The Care Closet is now located in the nurse’s office. Stop by to see Mrs. Parfitt, our new nurse, if you are in need of a hygiene or clothing item.

Changes to your schedule can be made in the counseling office. Changes can be made to schedules throughout the first five weeks of classes. You may only come in for a schedule change during a study hall or lunch.

Attention Seniors: senior interview meetings with Mrs. Pustay are being scheduled starting next week. Please check your email for your invite. Be sure to check into your IWT or class prior to coming to the Counseling Center.

For all Middle Schoolers, Please be sure to shut off your phone (not just silence them) every day when you put them in the cell phone locker.

Attention NJHS Candidates: There will be a brief meeting for NJHS candidates today at the beginning of lunch. Please come to Ms. White's room right after the lunch bell rings. We’ll discuss the club briefly, and then you’ll go to the cafeteria for lunch. All interested candidates need to attend.

If you are planning to drive to school this year you will need a parking permit. Stop by the main office and pick up the paperwork from Mrs. Reese!

9th graders, please make sure to accept the Google classroom invite to join the Freshman Class Google Classroom. If you have any questions, please see your class advisor, Mrs. Freeth.

SLC classes report to the LGI today. Cell 7 SLC report to the library.

Masquers - There is a meeting for all production team members Friday the 6th at Lunch in Mrs. Moren’s room. Be ready to talk about audition dates and workshop information.

Middle school students - if you forgot to drop your phone off before forum, please stop by the lockers on your way to class.

Athletic News:

  • On Wednesday, volleyball played against Oxford for their first game of the season.
  • JV won 3-0. Zaida Ostrander had 1 ace, 3 digs, 2 kills, and 5 assists. Cheyanne Bennett has 3 kills, 5 digs, and 6 aces.
  • Varsity also won 4-0. Polly Hansen- Rodriguez had 3 aces, 7 digs, and 8 kills. Cameron Cleveland had 3 kills and 16 digs. Alivya Packer had 2 kills, 9 digs, 10 assists, and 5 aces.

The girls play again tonight at home against Cortland. Come out to support our volleyball teams!

The boys’ JV soccer team picked up their first win of the season, beating Westmoreland/Oriskany 8-0. Thomas Roy tallied four goals and one assist, Lukas Morkevicius had two goals and two assists, Parker Mattson had one goal and one assist, and Carlo Amann-Burns had one goal. Tyler Jacobson, Griffin Brumbach-Thomson, Gavin Oney, and Ryker Jones all had one assist. The team plays today at home against Cazenovia.

The boys’ varsity soccer team beat Faith Heritage last night, 5-0, in the opening round of the Fabius-Pompey Tournament. Gavin Hames led the scoring with two goals and an assist, Caleb Neueschwander had a goal and an assist, Levi Neuenschwander had one goal, and Matthias Page-Fagon scored his first varsity goal. Additional assists were credited to Luke Langel, Brayden Pretre and Ezra Stahlberg. Cooper Roy made four saves to preserve the shutout. The team plays Fabius-Pompey in the championship game today at 6:30.
