Today’s Lunch: Garden salad topped w/popcorn chicken and cheese, dinner roll w/butter, fruit and milk!

All seniors are asked to attend today’s class meeting, during lunch, in room 117. We will be discussing plans for the entire year and it would be great if everyone had input!

There will be a Senior High FFA meeting tomorrow, Thursday, September 12th in the Ag room at lunch. All 9-12th grade students are welcome. Thanks!

The Junior Leadership team (Dora, Ally, Neel, Miles & Kiley) need to meet in Mrs. Chamberlain’s room during MS lunch today to plan the agenda.

There is a junior FFA meeting tomorrow during MS lunch. Please grab your lunch and report to Mrs. Chamberlain’s room. All new members please be sure to join us.

There is a Freshman class meeting tomorrow, September 12th, in Mrs. Freeth’s room during high school lunch. We will be discussing class officers and fundraising, so please be there.

Attention NJHS Candidates: Candidate forms are due tomorrow - Thursday - by 2:45pm. See Ms. White today if you have any questions. Also, please remember that if you are selected, attendance at the induction ceremony (November 4th) is a requirement for membership.

Athletic News:

The JV Boys soccer team defeated Clinton in overtime with a golden goal game winner by Brayden Pretre. Jude Page Fagon scored during the run of play and on a penalty shot. Trent Murray headed in a goal from a corner kick. Assists go to Parker Matson, Lukas Morkevicius, Jude Page Fagon and Trent Murray. Elijah Meyers stood tall in net with 6 saves. JV plays at home Thursday at 4:30pm against Adirondack.

The Girls Varsity Team opened up league play last night with a win over Waterville. Highlights included: 8 different players getting on the score sheet, scoring a goal from a corner kick, limiting the opponent to 1 shot and Freshman Polly LePage netting her 1st varsity goal. Great team victory.

JV volleyball lost to Jordan-Elbridge 1-2. The girls played hard, with Cheyanne Bennett intimidating them with her 5 aces, and Ellie Olsen keeping them on their toes with 6 kills.

Varsity volleyball defeated Jordan-Elbridge 3-0. Polly Hansen-Rodriguez had 4 kills, 6 digs, 3 aces, 1 assist, and 2 blocks. Cameron Cleveland had 8 kills, 11 digs, and 2 blocks. Alivya Packer had 1 kill, 5 digs, 6 aces, and 18 assists. Great game, ladies!
