National Suicide Prevention Month Fact of the Day: While many people assume that only those with mental illness have contemplated, attempted or completed suicide, the statistics prove differently. Only 46% of people who die by suicide had a diagnosed mental health condition - but research suggests that 90% may have experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. If you, or someone you know, may be experiencing suicidal ideations or thoughts, please tell a trusted adult as soon as possible. Throughout all of these conversations, just know that you are all important, you are all loved, and you are all integral building blocks to the foundation of our HCS family and you are all needed in order for our HCS community to shine as bright as it does.
