National Suicide Prevention Month Fact of the Day: Today is the last day of September which means it’s the last day for National Suicide Prevention Month. Even though we won’t be up here reading facts and offering words of encouragement, we ask that everyone stay vigilant and keep your friends and family’s well being at the forefront of your mind. If you are ever doubting if someone you love may be thinking about hurting themselves in any way, make sure you get the necessary help you need. Your friend may be mad at the moment but it is always better for your friend to be mad, then for your friend to not be there because they acted on suicidal thoughts. As always, if you, or someone you know, may be experiencing suicidal ideations or thoughts, please tell a trusted adult as soon as possible. You can also call or text the National Suicide and Crisis Hotline at 988 at any time to talk to a trained professional if you need immediate help. Throughout all of these conversations, just know that you are all important, you are all loved, and you are all integral building blocks to the foundation of our HCS family and you are all needed in order for our HCS community to shine as bright as it does.
