Hey Juniors - medical forms for the SUNY College Fair at OCC are due TODAY! Please turn your forms in by the end of the day. If we do not have your forms, you will stay back at HCS and attend your regular class schedule.
Attention 6th graders participating in HOG: Today is the second session for this semester. Please plan to be out front by the bell right after school where you will be met by the HOG Leaders. Parents/guardians should plan to pick you up promptly at 5pm at the Class of ‘65 Ice Hockey Arena on College Street.
Attention Seniors - Representatives from St. Bonaventure University, Utica University and TC3 (Tompkins Cortland Community College) will be visiting HCS next week on October 8th and 9th. Times and locations to be provided on the announcements next week.
Students planning to take the PSAT should sign up in the Counseling Office and make sure your $18 fee is turned in by October 16th.
The Freshman Class will be holding a Can and Bottle Drive to raise funds for their class on Saturday, November 2nd from 10-12pm in the HCS parking lot. You drop them off, the freshman class sorts and counts! Please consider bringing your cans and bottles to help out the freshman class.
Middle School Students! Masquers is having auditions for Frozen, Jr. next Monday the 7th and Tuesday the 8th! The audition sign up sheet is in the Masquers Google Classroom. If you need to be added to the classroom email see Mrs. Moren to be added, or if you have questions.
There is a workshop for the Frozen Jr. Auditions this coming Saturday, October 5 in the auditorium from 3-5 pm. All are welcome! Come learn the songs, the lines and the dance auditions! This is optional, but it will help you feel better about the audition.

The modified boys soccer team lost to Waterville yesterday by a score of 3-1. Scoring for the Knights was Thomas Jackson off a PK. Iain Dosanjh had six saves in net. Practice today from 3-4.
The volleyball teams rallied back last night to both defeat Living Word Academy.
JV had a comeback victory 2-1. Ameiliana Ames had 2 aces, 4 digs, and 6 kills. Maddie Chouinard had 1 kill, 3 aces, and 12 digs. Ellie Olsen had 1 ace, 3 assists, 7 digs, and 10 kills. Good job, girls.
Varsity also beat Living Word 3-1. Jayden Schwarting had 1 assist, 3 aces, and 9 digs. Madison DeAngelis had 1 assist, 5 aces, 5 digs, and 3 kills. Cameron Cleveland had 11 digs, 13 kills, and 5 blocks. Polly Hansen-Rodriguez had 1 assist, 4 digs, 11 kills, and 4 blocks. Great job, ladies!
