MIDDLE SCHOOL Tech Club will meet for the first time TODAY, Monday, October 7 during MS lunch in room 218 with Dr. Helfant. Anyone in MS will be welcome to attend and check out whether this club is for you. The goal will be to start preparing for the first Middle School NEWS Snippet.
Auditions for Frozen Jr. are here! They start at 3:00 today in the LGI. It is not too late to sign up! Stop by Mrs. Morens room to sign up and grab an audition packet. We have fun!

Counseling News
Juniors who have handed in their medical form, tomorrow is our field trip to OCC for the SUNY College Fair. Please be ready to depart HCS immediately after forum tomorrow. We will return by lunch time.
Students planning to take the PSAT should sign up in the Counseling Office and make sure your $18 fee is turned in by October 16th.
Hey Seniors - a representative from St. Bonaventure University will be visiting HCS tomorrow at 8:15am. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the programs they have to offer. Stop by the side rooms off the HS Library to meet with Bella at 8:15. Please see Ms. Inman if you would like a pass!
Seniors - SUNY’s Free Application week is set for October 21st through November 3rd. The Free Application week allows you to apply to 5 different SUNY campuses for free! This can be done through the Common App or SUNY app. Please see Mrs. Pustay with questions.

Looking for a mentor for weekly adventures? Students in 5th through 12th grade can now participate in the Friends First Colgate Student Mentoring Program. This program offers weekly adventures filled with fun activities, crafts, and group events designed to engage and inspire students. Look for the QR code outside the Counseling Office door to sign up.
Athletic News:
The JV volleyball team had a hard-fought loss on Saturday against Cazenovia 1-2. Maddie Chouinard had 4 kills, 1 ace, and 12 digs. Breanna Hoke had 3 kills, 3 aces, and 12 digs.
Waterville Football had their first loss of the season Friday night with a 74-19 loss to Frankfort-Schuyler. Chase Wyant-Smith and Ryan Mosher had a combined 2.5 tackles. Friday night will be Senior Night and Hamilton’s own, Chase Wyant-Smith will be honored along with eight of his teammates at 7:10pm. Kick-off is 7:30pm.
The cross country team competed in the Whitesboro Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Not only was the weather perfect for race day, but it was also Gavin Moshier's birthday, turning a whopping 15-1 in years! Although Whitesboro's course is a tough one, Hamilton represented well. The girls team finished in 11th place with Cora, Liliana, Julia, Sophia and Anna scoring for the team. The boys team came in 13th with Matt, Gavin, Rowan, Drew and Hero scoring for the team. The following athletes ran a personal Milesplit best: Drew Baker at 24:52, Ainsley Grawrock at 32:14, Cora Loranty at 27:09, Gavin Moshier at 22:35, Julia Peck at 27:13, and Hero Sinsawat at 32:24. Great work team!
The Girls Varsity Soccer defeated Town of Webb on Friday. Sophomore Abbey Hope started the scoring on an assist from Junior Logan Langel and Junior Rihana Dye notched a brace scoring goals on either side of halftime, assisted by Sophomore Kristen LaFrance and Sophomore Eve McCorkle. LaFrance assisted McCorkle’s goal and Freshman Izzy Catania assisted the final goal by Junior Claire Filipowicz. Total team effort and great composure.
