The $18 exam fee is due TODAY by the end of the day, and there are no exceptions to this deadline. Checks can be made payable to HCS and change is available for cash payments. f you need a fee waiver, that needs to be taken care of today as well. Please see Ms. Inman if you have any questions.
The next Mathletics meet is this Saturday, October 19th, at Proctor High School. The bus leaves at 7:55 AM and will return about 12:15 PM. Permission slips are available on the poster next to room 117. If this is your first time attending Mathletics this year, you also need to return a completed health form. Please return all completed forms to Ms. Lehmann before 3 PM on Friday. We are limited to 25 participants this week, so the first 25 people to return their forms are the people who are going.
Hey Seniors! SUNY Potsdam will be visiting HCS tomorrow at 9am. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to check out the northernmost member of the State University of New York system, composed of the College of Arts & Sciences, the School of Education and Professional Studies, and the Crane School of Music. The Freshman Class will be holding a Can and Bottle Drive on Saturday, November 2nd from 10-12pm in the HCS parking lot. You drop them off, the freshman class sorts and counts! Please consider bringing your cans and bottles to help out this class fundraise.
There is an art club meeting after school today open to all students 6th-12th grade in the high school art room. Make sure you sign up for the late bus before lunch!
There is an Anthropology and Art Club meeting during HS lunch in the art room for juniors and seniors only!

Athletic News:
Last week the JV Boys shut out rival Cooperstown 3-0. It was a great team victory with a goal from play, a penalty shot goal and a header on a corner kick. Our keeper and defense played outstanding in the best complete game of the season. Our final game is home against Remsen today, Wednesday at 4:30pm. We hope you can come support the lads on an incredible fall of growth and teamwork.
The modified boys soccer team braved the elements yesterday, and came out with a 7-1 win against Town of Webb. Scoring for the Knights were Julius Smith, Ryan Houck, Lukas Sirtoli, and Charlie George with a hat trick. George and Sortoli also chipped in one assist apiece. In his first time as a field player, Iain Dosanjh also added his first career HCS goal. The team plays away at Remsen tomorrow. Practice today from 3-4. Great job guys!
Last night JV volleyball crushed Onondaga 3-0. Zaida Ostrander had 1 kill, 1 ace, 3 digs and 10 assists. Maddie Chouinard had 1 kill, 9 digs, and 7 aces. Good job by all!
Varsity volleyball also defeated Onondaga 3-1. Alivya Packer had 3 digs, 4 kills, 5 aces and 21 assists. Polly Hansen-Rodriguez had 2 assists, 7 digs, 1 block, and 11 kills. Great job, ladies!
With a 6-0 win over the Town of Webb, the boys’ varsity soccer team finished the regular season at 12-3-1, and clinched the CSC Division 3 league title. Gavin Hames led the points earners with two goals and three assists, followed by Levi Neuenschwander with two goals and two assists. Luke Langel and Bryce Wright each had one goal, and Matthias Page Fagon had one assist. Cooper Roy made six saves to earn the shutout. The team now waits until Sunday to find out who they will face in the first round of sectionals. Great regular season, guys!
