Athletic News:

In what turned out to be an epic battle, the Modified Girls Soccer locked horns with the Rams of Remson last night, in what was their last home game of the season. Annalee Shoemaker’s first goal was assisted by Lila Sharp-Ballinger, followed by another goal by Valeria Sandoval for the team’s second goal, assisted by Annalee. The score was tied at 2-2 with only 1 minute 30 seconds left on the game clock, when a furious series of passes out of the defense, sent up to midfielder Chloe Gridley, who pushed the final pass right up to Annalee Shoemaker, who then sank the final goal to seal the Rams fate. The team’s final game will be next Tuesday in Clinton.

The JV Boys soccer team hosted Remsen in the final match of the season yesterday evening, with a 5-1 win. Goals were scored by Parker Matson, Jude Page Fagon, Thomas Roy and Ryker Jones with assists to Elijah Meyers, Eddie Fall, Brandon Kopp, Jude Page Fagon and Griffin Brumbach Thomsen. Gavin Oney also scored for JV boys with a beautiful header into the side netting on a corner kick from Jude Page Fagon. Great goal Gavin! The team finished with a record of 14-1, and together combined for 62 goals for and 9 goals against. Every single player contributed and together lifted each other everyday. We are very proud of the season, growth, grit, maturity and selflessness of each student athlete and cannot wait to see what lays in store for them next, together.

NOTE TO THE ANNOUNCER, PLEASE SING THE “OOH ITS COLD IN HERE” APPROPRIATELY.

Last night at the Sherburne cross-country meet, it was a day for the brave who faced 46-degree weather and mud. The last dual-meet of the season had record high attendance - the whole team was present!

The other teams said "Ooh, it's cold in here-there must be a Berry in the atmosphere!" because Matt Berry powered through the muck to snag first place with a time of 18:37.6.

On the girls' side, Clare Roller sprinted to a solid 5th place finish in 26:53. And let’s not forget June Loranty, who ran her last meet, finishing 13th alongside her OG modified run buddy, Ingrida.

Great job team!

The Girls Varsity Soccer team ended their regular season yesterday with a gritty victory over Remsen. Sophomore Kristen LaFrance scored the first goal and assisted the game-winning goal to junior Logan Langel halfway through the 2nd half. Chloe LaFrance provided the 1st assist. The team finishes a perfect 8-0 in league play and 14-2 overall and awaits Sunday’s Section 3 Tournament seeding for the beginning of the real season next week.
