Athletic Events:

Last night the girls Modified Soccer Team ended their season with a heartbreaking 2-1 loss to the Clinton Comets. We feel it necessary to let you know that the loss was not our fault, as there were multiple strange occurrences that ensured our team would fail. The following details were recounted after the game: (1) there was a forest fire that caused so much smoke, that our defenders got too winded, (2) a small microburst stopped one goal from going in, (3) a lightning strike electrocuted one of our midfielders on her big toe, and (4), local bandits stole all our water bottles so we couldn't hydrate correctly at halftime. Despite those bizarre challenges, the girls played their hearts out and left it all on the field, also of note: McDonald’s Happy-Meals, heal many wounds. The end result of the season was an impressive 8-2-1. Great job ladies, we are all proud of you!
