There will be a middle school student council meeting today, Tuesday October 29th during lunch in room 110. We will be voting on officers so if you are running for an office, please be prepared to make a short statement. Any student in grades 6-8 is welcome to attend this meeting.

All cars need to be moved out of the front parking lot by 3:15. You don’t have to leave, just please have cars moved out of the way so trucks can move in.

Attention students who are participating in the American Mathematics Challenge at Utica University next week: you MUST complete the online registration by Friday. Ms. Lehmann has emailed you the link. Please complete this registration today or tomorrow so you don’t forget. If you didn’t get the email, or if the link does not work, let Ms. Lehmann know immediately.

HCS Model UN had a tremendous weekend at the Manlius Pebble Hill Conference. Elijah Meyers won the William Verbeck Award for Strategic Thinking and was appropriately single-minded as he represented the country of Russia. June Loranty won the Andrea Daniel Award for Diplomacy, rightfully so, as she had to square off with Russia as the representative of Australia.

Our two newbies: Andrew Holm and Tyler Kowalski did an admiral job as well as Tyler winning best new delegate in his committee. Sarah Klingamon won the “Helium” award for full participation in her committee as well!

Art Club is canceled for today! So sorry!

Students attending the Montreal conference for MUN, we have a lunch meeting in room 217 today.

HS Tech Club meets today during HS lunch in Room 218. We’ll be working on the first Newsreel.

Attention NJHS Members: Please sign up for one of the upcoming volunteering events if you are able to. Sign-up links can be found on the NJHS Google Classroom. Members who have fewer than two volunteer hours should make this a priority. Upcoming events include the Night of Lights on the Village Green and the Community Memorial Hospital Holiday Sale. Thank you!
