Athletic News:
Girls Volleyball played an intense game against Lafayette, but lost 2-3. Pyper McEwan had 2 aces, 8 kills, and 10 digs. Cameron Cleveland intimidated at the net and didn’t let up with her 11 digs, 15 kills, and 4 blocks. Madison DeAngelis played her heart out in her last volleyball game as a senior. Her defense was on point with 3 aces, 4 kills, and 19 digs. The girls wish to thank everyone for their support over our season. Look out next year: 6 of our 7 starters are returning! We are so proud of how far you have gone this year. Excellent job, ladies!
The boys’ varsity soccer team was crowned Section 3, class D champions last night with a 3-2 win over Faith Heritage. Dylan George started the scoring for the Knights on an assist from Levi Neuenschwander. In the second half, Gavin Hames furthered the team’s lead scoring two goals of his own on assists from Luke Langel and Levi. The Knights held off a late surge, and Cooper Roy made five saves to secure the sectional title. The team moves on to play in the regional crossover game this Saturday against South Kortright.
