Hey Juniors and Seniors: Colgate University invites eligible HCS students to enroll in one class during the Spring Semester. This 14-week course provides a Colgate credit, typically transferrable to other colleges. Now is the perfect time to explore course options (www.colgate.edu/courses) and plan ahead. Stop by the counseling office for a FAQ sheet, application, and instructions. Registration opens in early January.

7th & 8th girls interested in playing modified basketball, quick meeting after school on Thursday, December 12th in Mrs. Cunningham’s room.

Athletic News:

Modified Volleyball played Morrisville yesterday.  8th grade lost 2-1, but they played an amazing game. Chloe Gridely had 8 kills, 1 dig, 5 aces, and 2 assists. Skye Nelson had 3 kills, 1 dig, and 4 aces. Lila Sharp Balenger had 2 digs, 2 aces, 3 assists, and 1 block. 7th grade won all 3 sets. Leanna Peters had 10 aces, 1 kill, and 3 digs and Ally Catania had 5 aces, 3 kills, and 4 digs. Great game all around! Reminder no practice today.

Last night the boy’s basketball team was able to grow their lead slowly over each quarter to take down rival Waterville at home. Drew Baker had a double-double with 24 points, 19 rebounds, and added 6 blocks on the night. Teddy Freeth and Luke Langel each added 8 points for the Knights. The team plays again at home on Friday, December 13th versus Morrisville.
