SLC classes meet in the HS library today.

HS Tech Club Meets today during HS lunch in Room 218. MS Tech Club will meet again this upcoming Monday.

High school students, don’t miss the semi-formal Winter Ball this Saturday, January 25th from 8 to 10 PM in the cafeteria. Admission is $15 single and $25 couple, no need to purchase tickets in advance, just pay at the door. Please remember that guests from other schools must be signed up in the high school office before noon tomorrow.

The Scholastic Art Awards ceremony is tonight at OCC at 7pm at the SRC arena. Mrs. Kowalski will be joining Lena Harnik and Fatemah Rosbrook as they are honored for receiving Gold Key awards. The exhibit will be on display at OCC through February 28th in the Whitney Building and we encourage you to visit and see the incredible work from our region!

This past weekend, a select group of music students participated in the January All County Music Festival at Oneida. They worked extremely hard on Friday and Saturday with over 8 hours of rehearsal to put on a fantastic concert on Saturday afternoon. Claire Filipowicz and Deven Zhang were in the high school orchestra, Ainsley Grawrock, Amelia Furlong, Astrid Burkhart-Spiegel, Ciara Sparber, and Cora Loranty were in the high school chorus, and Estellese Coger, Natalie Keating, and Neri Boyer were in the 7-8 Chorus. Anastaia Barnhart, Kevin Jacobsen and Everett Sullivan were in the grade 5 and 6 band. Congratulations!

Athletic News:

On Friday night the Hamilton Varsity Girls basketball team rolled over Poland. Leading HCS was Logan Langel with 18 points, Reagan Hope with 17 and Chloe LaFrance with 15. The Varsity record now stands at 9-3. Great job girls.

The JV Girls Basketball team improved their record to 9-0 with a victory over Poland on Friday night. Leading the JV team was Pyper McEwan with 19 points. Morgan Carhart and Sicily Catania chipped in with 9 a piece and Sela Nelson had 5. Good road win girls.

On Friday night, the 8th grade boys basketball team beat Sherburne-Earlville by a score of 24-14 behind an outstanding defensive effort in their first game of the season. Alec Toomath and Alex Oney led the scoring with 8 points each, while Nolan Dunlay pitched in 4, with Isaac Alfonso and Liam Darrow each adding two. Great team effort boys, practice today at 3:00.

The 7th grade basketball team won their first game of their season on Friday with a 31-26 come from behind victory over Sherburne-Earlville. Charlie George and Brent Baker led the team in scoring, while Neel Davray and Thomas Jackson played exceptional defense down the stretch.

On Saturday the VVS Wrestling team competed at the Red Devil Invitational against 17 teams. Andrew LaFrance had two pins and a tech fall. Andrew placed 4th in the tournament. Congratulations Andrew.
