The level 2 questions were exceptionally difficult, but the scoring team of Owen Arquiett, Maddie Chouinard, Michael Hayden, Anna Platt, and Cooper Roy were able to manage a 4th place finish; missing 3rd place by only 8 points. Hamilton remains in 4th place in the overall competition. Thank you to all 19 students who participated. Our next meet is February 8th in Westmoreland.

Eleven (11) students traveled to Syracuse University Friday and Saturday to take part in the Central New York Model UN Conference. All of them were well prepared and worked diligently to represent their countries in their committees. Thank you to June, Andrew, Rowan, Elijah, Tyler, Liliana, Julia, Dev, Ciara, Cora, and Dorothy. Congratulations to Elijah Meyers who received an outstanding delegate award for his work representing the country of Romania in the UN Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Committee. This is quite impressive for a conference with close to 800 students from around the state.

If anyone is interested in knowing more about MUN, please talk to June, Elijah, or Ms Jerome, the advisor. The last conference we can attend this year will be Jamesville Dewitt’s training conference.
