The Fitness Center will be open today, tomorrow and Wednesday from 2:45 - 3:30 pm! If you are interested in using the weight room please stop by the main office for a waiver. The waiver must be completed and turned in BEFORE you can use the weight room. A new waiver must be completed each year.
High School Students have been invited to participate in the Colgate University ALANA Cultural Center’s 4th annual Social Justice Summit, scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2025. This year’s theme Shaping Equitable Communities and Sustainable Just Environments, will have participants interrogating the variety of ways we can contribute toward positive change. The deadline to register is Tuesday, January 28, 2025. The $20 dollar registration fee has been waived for high school students!

Modified Girls Basketball started the season off with a win Saturday 36-12 against Mt. Markham. Chloe Gridley led the way with 14 points followed by Zaida Ostrander with 6 points. Also scoring for the team was Fyre Youngs, Kiley White, Lakota Sabine, Skye Nelson, Ally Catania, and Annalee Shoemaker. Great job ladies!
On Saturday our indoor track team competed in the CSC meet. Claire Filipowicz brought home a first place title in the 600 meters with a PR of 1:44 earning a CSC championship title and a fifth place finish in the 55 hurdles. Gavin Moshier wrapped up his season with a 5th place finish in the 1000 meter with a time of 3:20 and was 12th in the 300 meters with a time of 47.57. Matt Berry also secured a first place finish in the 600 meter earning a CSC championship title with a PR of 1:32 and a second place finish in the 1000m with a PR of 2:50. Matt and Claire have qualified for the sectional meet. Claire met the standards for 55 hurdles and 600 meters and Matt has met the standards for the 3200 meter, 1600 meter, 1000 meter, and 600 meter races. Good luck to our athletes as they advance.
On Friday the 8th grade Boys Basketball team defeated Westmoreland 46-17 to improve their record to 3-0 on the season. Nolan Dunlay led the balanced scoring with 12 points, followed by Julius Smith and Ryan Houck with 10 and 8 respectively. Both tallying career highs! Reece Mosher, Alec Toomath, Isaac Alfonso and Liam Darrow all added 4. Excellent team help defense and transition kept the team in control throughout the game. Great win boys! Home game today vs. Sherburne-Earlville.
On Friday, The 7th grade boys basketball team improved to 3-0 with a convincing team win over Westmoreland. Brent Baker led all scorers (14), while teammates Bentley Britton (8), Charlie George (6), Thomas Jackson and Owen Mullenax (4), Louie Child, Neel Davray, and Lukas Sirtoli (2) added buckets. Teamwork on the defensive end continues to be the difference. Meet in the Elementary Gym at 4:05p today.
