Attention juniors and seniors: please fill out the Google Form regarding prom shared in your Google Classrooms by THIS Wednesday, 2/26. Additionally, the junior class is working with the Cazenovia Public Library to hold a prom dress, suit and accessory giveaway during lunch on Monday, March 3rd in the main hallway. Please stop by and check out the available items! Please see Miss King or Mrs. Amir with questions.

Jazz band will meet after school today until 3:30

HS Tech club meets during HS lunch today in Room 218.

The Art and Anthropology field trip meeting has been moved to Thursday after school at 3pm. Reminder this meeting is MANDATORY for all attending the New York City field trip!

Counseling News:

Attention 8th and 9th grade students: Four-year planning meetings with Ms. Torre (8th) and Freshman interviews with Mrs. Poyer (9th) have been scheduled. Please check your email for your meeting notice, you will also receive a pass in forum the day you are scheduled. Please check in to your IWT or scheduled class before coming down to the Counseling Center for your meeting. Please see Ms. Inman if you have any questions, or if you cannot locate your meeting notice.

The Pre-ACT is being offered to interested sophomores on the morning of Wednesday, April 2nd. Interested students should sign up in the counseling center by March 26, 2025. This is a firm deadline to allow for test administration preparation. The fee is $19 cash, check or money orders payable to HCS. If you are eligible for a fee waiver, please see Mrs. Poyer.

Attention 9th, 10th and 11th grade students: Are you interested in a BOCES program next year? Stop by the Counseling Center to schedule a half-day visit to explore your program of interest! Sign up today for visits scheduled for March 3–7 and continuing each week through the end of March.

Athletic News

Last night the boy's varsity basketball team was victorious in their first round of sectional play. #5 ranked Hamilton defeated #12 Poland, 73-44. Drew Baker led all scoring with 33 points, with Luke Langel tallying 16. The team will travel to #4 seed Frankfurt-Schuyler on Thursday, time to be determined.

The Girls Varsity Basketball team improved their record to 18-3 with a sectional first round win over Poland 67-27. Leading Hamilton was Cameron Cleveland with a career high 21 points. Reagan Hope had 15 and Logan Langel chipped in with 11 points. Special recognition to Reagan Hope who became Hamilton’s all time leading 3-point shooter in boys and girls basketball with 195 made 3s, surpassing 2014 graduate Lauren Weeks. Congratulations Reagan. The girls team will now play Frankfurt-Schyler home Thursday night at 6:30.
