Attention orchestra students: if you signed up to play at the farmers market in May, there will be an after school rehearsal this Wednesday in the orchestra room from 2:45 to 3:30 pm. Please attend if you are able! If you need the late bus, you must let Ms. Giddings know by Tuesday. Thank you.

Please excuse the members of the Golf Team at 2:20 this afternoon. The bus will be departing at 2:30 for their 4:00 match against Owen D Young. Thank-You.

There will be a junior class officers meeting tomorrow during lunch in Miss King’s room.

High School Tech Club meets today during HS lunch in room 218.

The tennis club will practice today from 3-4 at the Colgate outside courts.

Athletic News

The varsity tennis team continued to play well against Mount Markham yesterday, as they pulled off a commanding 4-1 victory. Andrew Holm and Vivi Linden won their singles matches, and Elijah Meyers, Tyler Kowalski, Matthias Page Fagon, and Thaddeus Treffeisen won doubles matches for the Knights. Practice today at the Colgate courts. Great victory, team!

The varsity baseball team picked up a win last night beating Madison 2-1. Caleb Neuenschwander picked up the win giving up only one earned run, Luke Langel came in for the save. The two combined for 14 strikeouts. Colin Olsen had 2 hits and Cooper Roy scored both of the team's runs.

The Varsity Softball team beat Waterville 20-2 last night to improve to 2-0 on the season. Polly Hansen-Rodriguez notched her first career home run down the right field line, while Chloe LaFrance, Izzy Catania, and Ellie Freeth all added triples. Kristen LaFrance added her first varsity hit and RBI in the game. Ellie Freeth and Izzy Catania combined to throw 5 innings of one hit softball. Freeth had 7 strikeouts, 0 walks and 0 hits in 3 innings pitched, while Catania had 3k and gave up only one hit in her two innings. All 16 of you took part in this team win, great job!

The varsity track & field team competed at the Tully Invitational yesterday with the girls placing 4th and the boys 8th. Claire Filipowicz won the 400m hurdles and 800m and qualified for Sectionals in the 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 800m, and high jump. Matt Berry qualified in the 400m and 800m. Gavin Oney qualified for the 110m hurdles and long jump. Matt Berry (800m), Griffin Brumbach Thomsen (400H/LJ), and Julia Peck (200m) all had lifetime PRs.
