Reminder that prom tickets will go on sale starting today during high school lunch. The cost is $25 single or $45 per couple. Cash and checks made out to HCS will be accepted. We also ask that you sign up during the same time if you wish to participate in the prom walk. Prom guests from other schools need the appropriate form filled out and returned by next Monday, May 5th. All prom attendees need the signed contract returned by next Wednesday, May 7th. Forms are available in the main office, in the MS/HS Google Classroom or in Miss King’s room. If you go to BOCES and are not here for lunch, please see Miss King or Mrs. Amir to purchase tickets.
Attention Middle School: Today you will continue onto day 2 of 6-8 math testing. Students should report to their first class after forum. You will be released at 8:10 to report to your testing site or the auditorium if your parents have opted you out of math. For test takers, please use this time to go to the bathroom, sharpen pencils…etc. Students Taking the Algebra 1 Regents exam should report to the Auditorium. Please remember, any student opting out must have a written excuse signed by a parent or guardian, filed with Ms. Inman in the counseling center that notes the MATH exam. If you are unsure whether your note includes the math exam, you can check with her.
Due to state testing, cell 3 IWT will report to the Auditorium today only. Please try not to disturb test takers in the Library and go directly to the Aud today.
Juniors: remember to sign up on the Google Doc posted in our Google Classroom if you can donate a case of water for prom, bring in white lights for us to borrow for decorating or if you can help us decorate on Friday, May 9th at the Palace Theater.
For tech club: If you participated in the USC speak your mind challenge, please send some footage to either Ingrida or Liliana to include in the next tech club newsreel! Please do this ASAP! Get out your phone (right after forum) and send it!!!

Athletic News:
The Varsity Track & Field Team’s first league meet had to be cut short half way through due to weather conditions, but the team had many PRs despite the shortened competition. Their hard work has shown as they continue to progress in their events. Owen Arquiett earned two new career PRs–12.2 in the 100m and 56.7 in the 400m. His 400m time also qualified him for Sectionals. There were four other PRs in the 400m–1:01.1 for Rowan Speck, 1:12.9 for Liliana Hagos, 1:12.9 by Julia Peck, and 1:17.1 by Cora Loranty. June Loranty had a season PR in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:23.5. In field events, Drew Baker and George Palmer had their best throws in shot put and discus with distances of 32’ 3.5” and 24' 6” in shot and 71’0” and 63' 4” in disc. Madeline Shoemaker and Polly LePage rounded out our PRs for the meet in the long jump with jumps of 13’ 3.25” and 10’ 2.5”, respectively. The Team will be back in action tomorrow as we compete against Old Forge and Mount Markham.
Last night the Golf Team lost to a formidable Sherburne-Earlville team at Mountaintop Golf Course with a score of 162-165. The team will be playing home tonight against the Magicians of Herkimer.
All Student-Athletes: Remember, the fundraiser does not allow for duplicate emails/numbers. Think of family/friends on a national level when working on your contact list with your parents. On Monday the varsity baseball team lost to Dolgeville, Luke Langel had a strong outing on the mound striking out 9 through 5 innings. Caleb Neuenschwander led the offense going 2-3 with a double. Game today home vs Cooperstown.
