Non-Public Transportation Requests

All non-public transportation requests are due by April 1st , for the following year. Applications for school bus transportation of students residing in the Hamilton Central School District, who will attend private or parochial schools during the following school year, must be filed on or before April 1st. New York State Department of Transportation regulations permit applications after April 1st, only if there is sufficient evidence to warrant an extension of the deadline. The Board of Education will determine whether late applications can be processed. The deadline of April 1st applies to current school district residents. Parents of private or parochial school students who wish uninterrupted service for their children must have an application filed for each child, every year. Applications are available at the private/ parochial schools and must be forwarded to the District Clerk, Mrs. Jodi Shantal, Hamilton Central School, 47 West Kendrick Ave., Hamilton, NY 13346.
