Community Partnerships

In collaboration with Colgate, we are delighted to offer our students access to four exceptional programs designed to enrich their educational experience. These programs encompass a diverse range of opportunities tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of our student body. We invite our students to take advantage of these opportunities and embark on transformative learning journeys alongside Colgate University.

Mentoring - Colgate's Career Center for Outreach, Volunteerism, and Education (COVE) Friends First mentoring program partners Colgate students with Hamilton students, grades 6-12, to engage together after school in mutual interests. For more information or to sign your student up for a mentor, please reach out to the Counseling Center. 

Tutoring- Colgate's COVE Center partners Colgate students with Hamilton students, grades 6-12, for 1-1 academic support. For more information or to sign your student up for a tutor, please reach out to the Counseling Center or use the link here to complete the Google Form.  Tutoring Interest form

High School Seminar - In the fall and spring, varying topics will be covered by Colgate professors in the evenings. Interested students should sign up for a seminar in the Counseling Center. First come, first serve with registration. 

Community Scholar Program - Eligible Juniors and Seniors may enroll in a Colgate Class, allowing for a college environment experience and an opportunity to earn college credit. There is a cost associated with  the program. Refer to the attached document for more information. 

Through our dynamic partnership with SUNY Morrisville, high school students (grades 9-12) have the exceptional opportunity to earn college credits while in high school. These innovative programs enable students to accelerate their academic progress, saving both time and money on their college education. By participating in college-level courses, students not only gain valuable knowledge and skills but also experience the rigors and expectations of higher education firsthand. We are proud to offer our student this pathway to success and look forward to witnessing their growth and achievements as they embark on this educational journey with Morrisville State College.

EDGE Program - online, asynchronous early college offerings

The deadline to register for both programs is July 31st, 2024, or until classes are full. 

 

Hamilton is proud to announce our partnership with Utica University in offering the High School Bridge Program, an exciting opportunity for students to engage in college coursework and earn valuable college credits while still in high school. Open to students in 11th and 12th grade, this program provides a unique pathway for academic advancement and personal growth. Whether students choose to enroll in on-campus or online, they will benefit from the expertise and resources of Utica University, while gaining a head start on their college education.
